The digital preamplifier fundamentally is our analog preamplifier with the addition of both S/PDIF and USB digital inputs.  This results in a full-function preamp that includes all the normal analog inputs and features -- including a phono stage -- combined with the ability to accept all the usual digital music sources.

This means that it is no longer necessary to buy an external DAC with all its additional clutter and awkward operation.  By including a DAC in the preamp, the operation of your audio system control center is fully integrated and offers remote control of everything, including your digital sources and their level controls.

Of course, the DAC needs to be a state-of-the-art unit that offers the very finest digital performance.  Only the best DAC performance is acceptable.

To achieve this, Sanders has partnered with Light Harmonic to provide the DAC module for our preamp.  You can find more details on this superb DAC on the Light Harmonic website -- www.lightharmonic.com/home-audio.

Light Harmonic DACs are extremely expensive, but you can obtain the same performance in our Digital Preamp for a fraction of the cost -- and get a full-featured preamp as well!  Sanders believes in giving great value for the money, and this is a perfect example of this philosophy.
